At its core, BASETREE is a consulting firm with the expertise to successfully digitize business models, accompany transformations into contemporary organizational forms, and sustainably improve workflows. Using established methods and innovative techniques, we support our customers in developing a sustainable digitalized corporate vision. To ensure that the transformation is perceived as an organic growth process and not as a roller coaster ride, we accompany you with specialized experts for business analysis, requirement engineering, and project management.
Structured requirements management is particularly close to our hearts. We elicit, analyze, specify and validate their functional requirements, regulatory and organizational framework conditions, and quality expectations. The result is a performance catalog that we keep up to date via change management to ensure that results meet expectations and actual needs even after extended project periods. In our experience, projects often get into trouble because of neglected requirements management.
Furthermore, we support you in the modeling of processes and production flows. We analyze existing business processes and research, optimize and visualize them (BPMN). In doing so, we look beyond the end of our nose to tap possible synergies and unused potential. This creates clarity and saves resources. Poor processes in companies are not only a brake on efficiency but also one of the main reasons for frustration and declining motivation in the team.
In project management, we accompany you from analysis to conception to pragmatic implementation according to best practices, acting as a central coordination point between the various stakeholders. In doing so, it is our concern to be able to provide information on quality, deadlines, and costs always (e.g., based on Prince2). In many cases, investment security and the waterfall method are mutually exclusive. Thinking of 5-year plans has fallen together with the Berlin Wall. Especially in complex programs, it makes sense to spend more time on the planning and control method than on the actual project process. Gant plans in DIN A0 rarely create an overview. Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) are meanwhile established and promise - used correctly - a higher chance of success. We have the knowledge and the experience to know when to use which methods and how always to keep an eye on the time, costs, and quality.
